Strolling Sundays on Sinatra Drive

by Aptenodytes Forsteri on June 21, 2010

One of the challenges of living in a urban environment is the lack of open space. With this in mind the City of Hoboken has introduced a ‘Summer Streets’  scheme whereby every Sunday during the months of June, July and August they will close Sinatra Drive to vehicular traffic during the hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. This will provide some great access to our waterfront between 4th and 11th streets. Having such an opportunity will create a chance for parents to teach their kids how to ride a bike on the road and for street runners who want to run without having to dodge cars!

And while we are talking about cars, here is another top tip brought to you by Empire Realty; if you want to use your car on a Sunday in the summer, DON’T park it on Sinatra drive on a Saturday night!
